ELC Final Program

ELC Final Program – Of special note is this year’s keynote address: The 3rd Annual Geneva R. Johnson Forum on Innovation in Physical Therapy Education entitled, “Formation of a Doctoring Professional: Are We Shying Away From Education That Really Matters in the Lives of Our Graduates?” will open ELC 2016 on Friday October 7th at 8 AM. This forum is co-sponsored by ACAPT, the Education Section, and the Physical Therapy Leadership Institute (PTLI) and is split into 2 sessions: From 8-10 AM, we will hear a provocative Keynote Address from Dr. Emma Stokes, Associate Professor at Trinity College, (Dublin, Ireland) who is also WCPT President; followed by 3 short IGNITE talks from individuals representing multiple perspectives in PT Education. Following a 30 minute exhibitor break and poster session, we resume from 10:30-12 noon with small group Café Style participant discussions based on the topics brought forth in the Keynote and Ignite sessions.   Read more details in the : ELC2016 Program
