Is your institution registered in the NCCE?

Jul 11, 2018

The mission of the NCCE (National Consortium of Clinical Educators) is to lead a culture of shared accountability for physical therapist education by connecting stakeholders across academic and practice communities to facilitate integration of best practices in clinical education. Each ACAPT member institution is eligible to join NCCE. To do so, the academic institution must register an institutional pair to represent their program’s clinical education component. An institutional pair consists of 1 academic faculty member and 1 clinical partner.

Check the NCCE website to see if your institution is registered: https://www.acapt.org/about/our-leadership/consortium/national-consortium-of-clinical-educators. [Please click on this link, then on the “Members” tab in order to view institutions]

The goal is to have 100% institutional representation in the NCCE to bring forth the voice of the clinical educator and clinical education in academic physical therapy. To date, 67% of institutions have registered institutional pairs.

Institutional reps: please consider providing support for NCCE clinical partner attendance at ELC to facilitate participation in ACAPT business.

For questions, please email ncce@acapt.org.
