National Consortium of Clinical Educators (NCCE)

NCCE lttrhd-final-04282020

NCCE's mission

The National Consortium of Clinical Educators (NCCE) is the champion of excellence and agent of change within the clinical education community.

Vision:  All stakeholders in academic physical therapy champion a culture of excellence in clinical education.

How to join NCCE

NCCE represents clinical education faculty (academic and clinical) affiliated with entry-level programs that are ACAPT member institutions who serve in clinical education roles.**

Each ACAPT member institution should support the participation of one clinical education team - the NCCE Academic & Clinical Institutional Pair - consisting of:

  • at least one academic faculty member and
  • one clinical education affiliate directly involved with the member institution's clinical education program.

The academic faculty member is responsible for registering and maintaining accurate contact information.

See NCCE benefits and FAQ.

Have You Registered Your NCCE Team?

Register your NCCE Academic & Clinical Institutional Pair below. Only team registrations will be accepted; please have emails for both team members ready prior to initiating the registration process.

If you have a change in team membership, please contact the NCCE Secretary at ncce@acapt.org

Strategic goals

  1. Communication: The NCCE will facilitate communication, networking, and best practice dissemination among all academic and clinical partners.

  2. Growth and sustainability: The NCCE will be the leading influencer for excellence in clinical education.

  3. Research: The NCCE will be a leader in advancing a clinical education research agenda that guides data-driven decisions and practice.
