Transitioning to a Hybrid Format: Lessons Learned for Developing Physical Skills Webinar

When:

COVID-19 has forced every physical therapy program to answer the questions: “What can we teach online?” and “How can we do it well?” Join a panel of faculty from the University of Southern California, Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy to explore lessons learned teaching psychomotor skills in a hybrid online/on-campus format. Faculty will share successes, challenges, and adjustments made to teaching students physical skills in their hybrid pathway since 2018.

Specific examples and suggestions will be provided in the areas of orthopedic manual skills, analytical anatomy, therapeutic exercise, cardiopulmonary patient management skills, and neurological manual and facilitation skills. Faculty will also share successes and challenges related to more recent adjustments to optimize learning and safety in light of COVID-19.
