This webinar has been developed to provide participants with an understanding of the essential elements of a needs assessment to support the use of simulation based education to create significant learning in students.

based standards of best practice for simulation based experiences (SBE).
- Participants will learn how to:
- Identify curricular gaps, conduct a SWOT analysis to determine if simulation is the best mode of instruction.
- Find simulation experts
to assist in the development of SBE.
- Receive concrete examples of needs assessments for SBE within DPT education.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe foundational best practices that are essential in simulation case development.
- Develop a needs assessment for creating a simulation-based learning experience.
- Utilize best practices in simulation pedagogy in the early development of a case, including a needs assessment.
- Integrate a SWOT analysis in the creation of a simulation-based learning experience.
