Education research embraces the full spectrum of rigorous methods appropriate to the questions being asked and also drives the development of new tools and methods.

What's Our Research Agenda?

Check out the National Study on Innovation and Excellence in Physical Therapist Education which now serves as the foundation of the Education Leadership Partnerships research agenda.

The APTA House of Delegates adopted RC 63-19 APTA Position on Research in 2019, which the American Council on Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) endorses. 

Applications are open for the Grantwriting and Mentorship in Education Research (GAMER) program. The workshop provides guidance in developing robust, clear and theoretically grounded research questions, grant proposals and career research agendas. Application window closes on May 15, 2024.
