New developments

New member portal with membership directory

To consolidate "member only" benefits, ACAPT updated the design and content for a new member portal at members.acapt.org - that is also linked from the top right section of every web page.

As part of the portal, members can use a membership directory to expand networking and connections with your peers.

The member benefits in the portal include:

  • Discounts on PT education job postings on the ACAPT Career Center and the ability for you to upload your resume.

  • Easy access to purchase or view past webinars.

  • Leadership Compass - the only self-development leadership tool for PT educators.

  • A new online membership directory where ACAPT members can log in to search over 2,000 members (including members of ACAPT's consortia) based on institution, job role, state and names.

Pursuing a career in academic PT

ACAPT supports the development of future physical therapy-related researchers and PhD candidates who then become PT faculty.  

We encourage faculty and administrators to share How to pursue a career in academic PT with their DPT students.
