Is exercise physiology in your curriculum or pre-reqs?

Mar 22, 2023

Each month, we'll highlight a past approved motion.  You can search all motions here and see other ACAPT program recommendations

These motions & resources can help DPT programs pursue continuous improvement in your pursuit of excellence.

ACAPT members established exercise physiology expectations for DPT programs; these may be a pre-requisite for some programs or may be taught within the program.  Recommendations include curricular content & objectives for:

  • Exercise physiology/nutrition
  • Exercise testing
  • Exercise principles and prescription
  • Fitness theory and practice
  • Health promotion, wellness and prevention
