Sara North, PT, DPT, PhD, M.Ed, FNAP, is the Director of Educational Innovation & Evaluation and Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Division of Physical Therapy and serves as a Board Director with ACAPT. Dr. North's passion for innovation, education, and interprofessional collaboration is helping to shape the future of academic physical therapy.

When she's not launching statewide partnership initiatives or reading Originals by Adam Grant, you might find Sara planning unforgettable birthday parties, flowing through vinyasa yoga, or dreaming up new ways to make healthcare communication more effective—like her imagined "interprofessional answer button" to streamline team-based responses.

Whether she's traveling to Hawaii or London, or eyeing future adventures in Italy and Thailand, Sara brings energy, curiosity, and joy to all she does. Her advice to students: “It’s 100% OK to be wrong when you’re learning, as long as you're curious and committed to finding the best solution.”
