ACAPT is pleased to announce its Director of Education and Programming, Marci Sanders, has received the 2026 ASAE John H. Graham IV Fund ReadyMe Scholarship and will participate in the ReadyMe Experience.
The ReadyMe Scholarship supports professionals who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to advancing their organizations and the broader association community. Recipients are selected through a competitive process that evaluates leadership experience, career trajectory, and dedication to professional growth.
Marci’s selection reflects her impactful contributions to ACAPT and her ongoing commitment to strengthening the organization and the academic physical therapy community it serves. Through her work, she has demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
"I was eager to participate in ReadyMe because I’m new to association work. Although I have extensive experience in academia, I wanted to better understand how to apply that background within an association setting. ReadyMe offers an opportunity to learn what isn’t always visible. As they say, you don’t know what you don’t know," Marci said, "My goal is to build a strong professional community that I can lean on for guidance and support. I also hope to sharpen my leadership and professional development skills so I can lead with greater purpose and impact at ACAPT."
