The American Council of Academic Physical Therapy is launching a new Brown Bag Series to increase visibility, collaboration, and connection across the organization.
The virtual lunch-and-learn series will provide institutes, commissions, committees, and task forces with an opportunity to share their work, highlight accomplishments, discuss challenges, and engage directly with members in a conversational setting.
Open to all ACAPT members, sessions will feature updates and discussions tied to:
- Institute for Teaching and Learning initiatives and task forces
- Institute for Scholarly Inquiry projects and emerging priorities
- Federal advocacy and policy updates through ACAPT’s partnership with Lobbyit
- Clinical education projects, updates, and feedback
- Institutional Profile Survey (IPS) insights and data conversations utilizing Qualtrics
- National conversations connected to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and their relevance to physical therapy education
The series is intended to provide members with a clearer understanding of the work happening across ACAPT while encouraging engagement, feedback, and cross-collaboration between groups.
“ACAPT has a tremendous amount of meaningful work happening across the organization,” Celia Chomón Zamora, Ph.D., CAE, ACAPT's Executive Director, shared. “This series creates an opportunity to bring members into those conversations in a more accessible, transparent, and collaborative way.”
