Below is information from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE):
CAPTE provides an opportunity for physical therapy education constituents and the public to provide feedback on the first draft of the Revised Standards and Required Elements.
The Commission uses the standards and required elements to evaluate the quality of physical therapist and physical therapist assistant education programs and their relevance to student needs.
You can provide feedback during this important comprehensive revision of the CAPTE accreditation standards.
- View the 2022 PT Standards and Required Elements First Draft.
- Then, please take the PT Survey to provide your feedback by December 15, 2022.
- Once the survey closes, the Standards and Required Elements Revision Group will review comments to determine what changes to include in the second draft of the standards and elements.
- For questions or additional comments related to this five-year review, contact CAPTE at accreditation@apta.org.
