ACAPT celebrates the completion of the crucial work by the Task Force on Clinical Partner Engagement in Academic Physical Therapy, led by Laurie Neely, PT, DPT, NCS, and the Task Force on Clinical Education Placement Capacity and Process Innovation, led by Jamie L. Greco, PT, DPT, EdD. Special recognition goes to Janet Jackson-Coty, PT, DPT, for her leadership of the Placement Process Subgroup, and Janet Konecne, PT, DPT, PhD, for heading the Capacity Subgroup within the Task Force on Clinical Education Placement Capacity and Process Innovation.
ACAPT and the Clinical Education Commission are thrilled to present the outcomes of their tireless work. Their dedication has laid the groundwork for meaningful
conversations and exciting innovations in clinical education. We’re eager to
embark on the next phase of collaboration with the clinical education and
broader academic physical therapy communities. We are confident that these

- CE Commission Annual Meeting: Saturday, October 19th, 2024 from 8:00-9:30 AM at ELC in Oakland, CA. Join us for an opportunity to hear initial discussions on the innovations sparked by the Task Forces' work.
- Listening Session: Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 6:30 - 8:00 pm EST, offering an opportunity into the Task Forces' recommendations and providing a platform to discuss initiatives that the ACAPT CE Commission is initiating based on the Task Forces' findings. This session will also include an interactive Q&A with Task Force leadership, allowing for further engagement and discussion.
