Transitioning to a hybrid format: Lessons learned for developing physical skills webinar - free recording

Aug 3, 2020

COVID-19 has forced every physical therapy program to answer the questions: “What can we teach online?” and “How can we do it well?”

A panel of faculty from the University of Southern California, Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy explore lessons learned teaching psychomotor skills in a hybrid online/on-campus format. Faculty share successes, challenges, and adjustments made to teaching students physical skills in their hybrid pathway since 2018.

Specific examples and suggestions are provided in the areas of orthopedic manual skills, analytical anatomy, therapeutic exercise, cardiopulmonary patient management skills, and neurological manual and facilitation skills. Faculty will also share successes and challenges related to more recent adjustments to optimize learning and safety in light of COVID-19.

  • Intended Audience: PT educators: faculty and program directors
  • Fee: Free for ACAPT members and non-members
