Using clinical-academic partnerships to develop CI training

This resource-sharing webinar is provided through ACAPT's National Consortium of Clinical Educators (NCCE).

Clinical instructors have a critical role in the formation of physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students, yet are provided few formal opportunities to enhance their role as educator. A team of academic faculty and site coordinators for clinical education collaborated to address this gap in development opportunities.

Based on CI-identified needs and constructs identified as key for facilitating excellence in physical therapist education, the team created a successful series of educational sessions. This webinar will highlight the development process; provide details on content, delivery and timing of the educational sessions; and review outcomes from this program.
