Timeline for Selection of Awards
We encourage students who are in their last year of physical therapist school to apply. Students must register on the ACAPT website to complete their applications. Then students can print a PDF of their applications and submit the printed application and their letters of recommendation to the PT program chair at each ACAPT member institution. Individual program selection committees at the ACAPT member institutions review the applications.
At Least Two (2) Months Before Graduation:
All member institutions must submit an official list of National PT Student Honors Society inductees to acapt@acapt.org no later than two months before graduation.
Those selected by their institution will be listed as inductees on the ACAPT website.
Certificates and lapel pins will be mailed to the institution's address on record the last week of each month. For example, for the program to receive inductees' certificates and lapel pins at a June ceremony, please notify us of their names by April so that we can mail the certificates and lapel pins by no later than the end of May. This timeline helps ACAPT ensure we always have enough lapel pins, certificates, and mailing supplies available for all inductees.
