To further ACAPT's strategic goals for academic innovation and knowledge to elevate health care, new committees are being formed.  

1. Awards & Recognition Committee - to honor members of the academic and clinical physical therapy profession who exemplify the characteristics of excellence.
   
2. Education Research Committee - to build the body of active & engaged education researchers within the academic PT profession.
   
3. Resource Committee - to identify and collect best practices in physical therapy academia.
   
4. Program Committee: This committee provides educational and networking opportunities for physical therapy educators and is expanding in size and scope.

To apply for one or more of these opportunities, please review the committee details, then send an email with your name, CV, an explanation that describes your reason(s) and qualifications to serve in the position and an executed assignment of copyright to the ACAPT Executive Office at acapt@acapt.org by February 3, 2020, to be considered for appointment. 

All applications shall be compiled and retained by the Executive Office and shared with the Board of Directors.  All applicants will be notified of the Board’s decision by early February 2020.
