Globally, the term digital practice is superseding and encompassing the term telemedicine or telehealth, as it more broadly covers the range of technologies and the impact these technologies are having on current and future practice and service models.
A new white paper explores digital practice benefits, current limitations, regulatory issues and the implications for physical therapy education. The World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) and the International Network of Physiotherapy Regulatory Authorities (INPTRA) established a joint Digital Physical Therapy Practice Task Force to develop the white paper.
WCPT and INPTRA also created a survey to obtain feedback from practitioners and regulators across the globe. You can read the full survey results.
If you have any questions, you can email info@INPTRA.org.
