Your feedback drives ACAPT's strategic planning

Oct 26, 2020

THANK YOU to everyone who was able to complete ACAPT's membership survey.

You identified the top ACAPT member benefits:

  • Educational Leadership Conference (ELC)
  • Advocacy with CAPTE
  • Professional development, education and training

We heard loud and clear that you're also interested in more action with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts, as well as clinical education advances.

New benefits to focus on include:

  • Best practices for clinical education
  • Guidelines to help a PT program and/or clinic achieve academic excellence
  • Metrics & best practices for DEI
  • Clinical education database
  • Revised normative model for PT education curricula

You also told us you'd like to hear more about ACAPT and its board's work, including the unique value that ACAPT can deliver.

Next steps

Based on the survey results, ACAPT's board is digesting the valuable feedback, making adjustments to immediate priorities and using your input in upcoming 2021 strategic planning.

If you completed the survey and would like any individual follow-up to your comments, feel free to email us at acapt@acapt.org.  Since we kept individual survey responses confidential, we'd need your permission to contact you about specific questions.
