Gun violence is a public health crisis which is devastating communities across the U.S. ACAPT and other Federation of Associations of Schools of the Health Professions (FASHP) members signed a letter to Congress in support of the new Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, legislation that will take critical steps to curb the gun violence epidemic.
ACAPT celebrates the passing of this bill and encourages continued action to keep our communities safe. We also recommend Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs and their students review these mental health resources.
