What is the purpose of the ACAPT Center for Excellence?  

The Center supports a culture of excellence and assessment through trustworthy and transparent data management and analysis for academic physical therapy.  The Center's work reinforces ACAPT’s mission and strategic goals.

• The Advisory Committee and other ACAPT experts are hard at work responding to your feedback on the Institutional Profile Survey. You can also see some staffing data insights from the 2022 survey.
  
  
• The enhanced January 2023 survey will be part of a new platform that will provide a secure, unique account for each member institution to: 
  
  
  • Complete & save survey responses.
  • Assess your program relative to anonymous national data.
  • Identify trends in academic PT.

  ACAPT's vendor has already built a similar successful platform for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), allowing members to review data for informed decision-making and research.

• While privacy and other concerns currently prevent CAPTE from sharing Annual Accreditation Report (AAR) data, ACAPT is continuing to meet with CAPTE on a regular basis to discuss opportunities that lead us closer to our shared goal of excellence in academic physical therapy.
  
  As we design the next Institutional Profile Survey, we'll strive to avoid redundancy where possible, while still collecting meaningful data.
