We are thrilled to announce the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation has awarded ACAPT a $25,000 grant to support the National Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Commission (NEDIC) Summit.
The summit will bring health professions leaders together to create an action plan for fostering the diversity within academic physical therapy. ACAPT will create a blueprint to increase the representation of racial and ethnic minority students, faculty, and leadership in physical therapy education programs.
The grant will help ACAPT meet a strategic goal to foster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and respond to PT member institutions who have identified DEI as a top area for improvement. Learn more about ACAPT's commitment to DEI and we'll keep you posted on our progress after the June 2022 NEDIC Summit.
