Academic physical therapy needs your support to tackle the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) challenges facing our profession.  One of ACAPT's strategic goals is expanding DEI.

At this year's 17th Annual Physical Therapy Education Leadership Conference (ELC), you have opportunities to help fund the following organizations that provide scholarships for faculty & students from racially and ethnically diverse communities in academic physical therapy:

• The American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT)
• National Association of Black Physical Therapists (NABPT)
• Physical Therapy (PT) Fund Minority Scholarship Fund

How you and your organization can support DEI at ELC

1. Register for ELC and attend the Friday night (Oct 28) welcome reception. 
    
2. Join ACAPT & the Academy of Education as one of the eight Platinum sponsors ($5K each) needed to cover costs of the reception by contacting us today.
    
3. Donate now by logging into APTA and then selecting "DEI Event Donation Form". 100% of donations raised will be equally distributed to the 3 organizations above.
   
   ACAPT & the Academy of Education are each contributing $5,000. Imagine the positive impact we could make together from both individual and institution donations!
   
   
4. Have some fun at the Milwaukee Bucks game during ELC!  Two dollars ($2.00) from every ticket goes to racial & ethnically diverse scholarship funds.
