Many Faces. One Purpose
The American Council for Academic Physical Therapy and the APTA Academy of Education are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, not only at ELC, but throughout the physical therapy profession.
To that end, we are raising funds for three scholarships that are given to underserved populations to increase the number of diverse physical therapists in the profession so we can continue to best serve our diverse patient base. These three scholarships are through these organizations:
- American Academy of Physical Therapy
- National Association of Black Physical Therapists
- APTA’s Physical Therapy Fund Minority Scholarship
This year, we have TWO ways you can help ACAPT and the Academy move our profession forward.
- Make a donation when you register for ELC.
- Coming Soon: Buy our “Many Faces. One Purpose.” T-shirt and bracelet, and show your support by wearing the T-shirt and bracelet on Saturday, October 19th during ELC. (T-shirts and bracelets will be available for purchase August – September)
Thank you to our sponsors
