A Listening Session on Changing the Black Landscape of the Physical Therapy Profession (Focus: Administrators)

When:

Join us for a bold and courageous listening session as PT Educators and Leaders share their experiences in the Profession of Physical Therapy.

Physical Therapy Academic Administrators and Leaders will provide their perspective on how social injustices, COVID-19, and other racial and health pandemics are addressed from an organizational perspective. The panelists will discuss strategies that they envision to address the under-representation of Black/Brown individuals in the profession of physical therapy.

ACAPT's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Consortium will be hosting its second listening session to discuss topics and issues surrounding racism in PT education with a specific focus on administrators.

Date & Time: Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00-8:30 pm EST/4:00-5:30 pm PST

Intended Audience: This event is open to all ACAPT members. Targeted at PT administrators.
