ACAPT business meeting at ELC 2022

All are welcome to join us at the ACAPT business meeting that will take place on Friday during the 17thAnnual Physical Therapy Education Leadership Conference (ELC) in Milwaukee. Learn more about ELC and register now.
DATE, TIME, LOCATION
The ACAPT Business Meeting will take place on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. CT in Ballroom AB of the Wisconsin Center which is located at 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
We will take an exhibit hall break from 3:00-3:45 p.m. CT and return to the meeting for a dialogue with the Board up until we adjourn at 5:15 p.m. CT.
WHO CAN VOTE
All ACAPT institutional representatives or their designated alternate must notify ACAPT of their intent to vote so information can be provided to the ensure your program’s vote is captured.
- Only the representative or designated alternate may vote on behalf of the program, and it is the representative’s responsibility to ensure ACAPT has the correct information.
- All representatives received an email on September 28 with a link to notify us of who will be voting. If you did not receive that email, please contact us at acapt@acapt.org.
HOW TO VOTE
ACAPT will be utilizing AssociationVoting.com for the business meeting. Voting can be accessed on phone, tablet, or computer.
Instructions and the AssociationVoting.com meeting code will be emailed directly to only those who have completed the form supplied in the Sept 28 email referenced above and again on the day of the business meeting. Please note that Zoom and AssociationVoting.com will have different meeting codes.
ATTENDANCE
Onsite: You may go directly to Ballroom AB. Please remember to pick up your badge at ELC registration. ACAPT will NOT be using voting cards.
Virtually: The Zoom meeting information will be emailed to those that registered for the virtual option three business days before and again on the day of the business meeting. HOT TOPICS AT THE OPEN FORUM
ACAPT and the Academy of Education are excited to return the Open Forum on Thursday night at ELC back to a true open discussion around hot topics. Over an informal setting, we will seek your thoughts and ideas for solutions to address three pressing issues:
- Faculty Diversity, Recruitment and Retention
- Student Diversity, Recruitment and Retention with Cost Containment
- PT and PTA Education Innovation

RAISING FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF MINORITY PT & PTA PROFESSIONALS AND STUDENTS
ACAPT and the Academy of Education are raising funds for which 100% will go to the scholarships created by The American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT), the National Association of Black Physical Therapists (NABPT), and the Physical Therapy Fund Minority Scholarship Fund (APTA).
