ACAPT 2023 business meeting - ELC & virtual
When:
ACAPT's annual business meeting will be held:
- Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. ET
- At the Annual Physical Therapy Education Leadership Conference (ELC): Marriott Salon E & F, Level 5
- Virtual option: If you cannot attend in-person, please register in advance & you will receive a confirmation email with Zoom meeting link.
Meeting Agenda will include:
- Motion: Full transparency of DPT education program quality - updated on Sept 11, 2023.
- Discussion around the following questions:
- What should be the expected research/scholarship productivity of all academic programs and how should it be measured?
- What are the recent experiences of membership on recruitment of students & faculty?
- What are the experiences of membership regarding institutional pressures to alter enrollments or start new programs in PT or other health disciplines?
This year and going forward, ACAPT is moving the business meeting from Friday to Thursday evening so the meeting can be held unopposed and anyone may take part without missing important continuing education sessions.
- Representatives or their designated alternate must notify ACAPT of their intent to vote so information can be provided to the ensure your program’s vote is captured. Only the representative or designated alternate may vote on behalf of the program, and it is the representative’s responsibility to ensure ACAPT has the correct information. Use this form to notify us of who will serve as your voting representative. Only the person identified in this form will receive the unique code to vote at the meeting, which will be sent to those individuals on October 5 and again on October 12.
