Education Leadership Institute Application Deadline Extended to April 1

When:

Being a director for a physical therapist (PT) or physical therapist assistant (PTA) education program can seem as lonely as it is overwhelming—but it doesn't have to be. Again in 2018, APTA is inviting a select group of emerging program directors to learn from mentors and each other in ways that will enhance their own work and strengthen the profession overall.

The yearlong Education Leadership Institute (ELI) Fellowship program uses a blended learning approach (online and onsite components) to help PT and PTA educators in academic, residency, and fellowship settings to hone their skills in facilitating change, thinking strategically, and engaging in public discourse to advance the physical therapy profession. APTA is accepting applications to the program through April 1.

ELI is a collaborative effort of the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy, the Academy of Physical Therapy Education, the Physical Therapist Assistant Educators Special Interest Group, and APTA. It is accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education.

Considering the fellowship experience? Check out the video testimonials of ELI graduates.
