Thinking about simulation? Network with peers & experts (Virtual Event)

When:

ACAPT's Simulation in Physical Therapy Education Consortium (SIPTEC) is hosting this live, virtual event to provide a venue for networking among physical therapists who are using simulation to meet their teaching and assessment needs.

Participants will have the opportunity to move between selected topics of interest moderated by a subject expert. Topics include:

  • Scholarship in simulation
  • Simulation-based curriculum design
  • Debriefing
  • Matching delivery to objectives
  • Other topics requested by participants

Participants can expect to leave with not only an increased understanding of each topic and an awareness of resources to further their development, but also an expanded network of simulation peers for potential collaborations.

Who should attend

  • Physical therapy educators and academic faculty who are interested in simulation-based learning and networking.

Objectives

  1. Increase understanding of concepts on a self-selected topic in simulation-based education.
  2. Construct a list of resources to address a development need on a self-identified topic in simulation-based education.
  3. Identify and meet content experts and peers for future collaborations.
